Join me at Moonlight Ranch, a privately owned and operated 23 acre farm that nurtures the health and well-being of four horses, three miniature donkeys, three goats, a small flock of chickens and four rabbits, in a safe environment where liberty is respected when provided the opportunity to participate in therapeutic work. No matter the model of psychotherapy or learning, the health and welfare of both the horse and the human is essential. Honest and regulated interactions are created together as a partnership. Ensuring an environment that prioritizes animals’ ability to thrive is at the heart of our commitment to positive affective states. As a result, our understanding of optimal care continues to evolve.

Moonlight Ranch hosts licensed therapists that provide mental health services to individuals, groups, and families. Each provider brings with them their own unique experience and training. 

I am partnering with Moonlight Ranch along with Kate Ford, LICSW and Shauna Dowden, Ph.D. to offer a retreat series for Queer Folx centering liberation, slowing down, connecting with nature, queer kin, beyond human realms, horses and miniature donkeys!
